The Swiss lid collection campaign

The Swiss lid collection campaign

So it couldn't be otherwise than that another encounter led us onto new paths: Khalil was given the special opportunity for an exchange in Sweden with various other small environmental and aid organizations. The journey of a plastic bottle

The journey of a plastic bottle

Hans Christian Andersen once wrote a story about the development of a glass bottle. The well-known author called his story "The Bottle Neck". In this story, the reader follows the development of a glass bottle. It began life in a glass distillery and spent a few years in the cellar of a winery until it was opened for a wedding. The empty bottle was then carelessly thrown on the floor, where a scrap dealer picked it up. He sells it to a hostel owner, who refills it with a healing liquid. However, the bottle eventually breaks. But that is not the end of it. In a glass distillery, it is transformed into something new again, a stained glass piece. Her journey ends with her installation in a church, where she fills the room with color.

How collection containers are changing the Tola region in Nicaragua

How collection containers are changing the Tola region in Nicaragua

The country's beautiful beaches and nature reserves are increasingly threatened by plastic waste left behind by tourists and locals alike.
