Not so long ago, we heard the story of the hummingbird for the first time, and since then, it has accompanied us daily:
"One day, a terrible fire broke out and huge areas of forest were engulfed by raging flames. Terrified, all the animals fled and ran out of the forest. When they reached the edge of a lake, they stopped - discouraged and helpless, because they had to watch their home go up in flames. None of the animals, except for a little hummingbird, decided to dive into the lake and collect a few drops of water . He flew back and repeated the process again and again. The other animals watched the little bird in disbelief; some even made fun of his efforts. Finally, one of the larger animals asked the hummingbird: "What do you think you're doing?" Without wasting any time, the hummingbird looked back and said: I cannot put out the fire alone, but I will do my part, and if you do your part, then together we can do it. That was the turning point: The larger animals joined the hummingbird, and after a while, they were able to stop the fire - together!"
