Transparency matters to us – here is our cost breakdown:

* true cost: Violeta and Marco donate their working hours to BFWP and charge a symbolic CHF 1.00 per person.
** true cost: CHF 7.30; Track13 donates CHF 2.00 per item to BFWP.
*** true cost: Violeta handles orders and marketing and donates her working hours to BFWP.

MATERIAL

At Buy Food with Plastic we strive to be transparent and environmentally friendly in everything we do. We choose our materials carefully to make sure our garments are durable and as sustainable as possible. Our tote bag is made of 80% recycled cotton and 20% recycled polyester. It is certified to the Global Recycled Standard and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and approved as vegan by PETA.

PRODUCTION

The BFWP merchandise was produced in collaboration with Track13 Merch Lab. Track13 is a growing Zurich-based streetwear brand that takes a stand against fast fashion while helping others realise sustainable merchandise projects.

The factory where the tote bag was made is located in Asia and certified by the Fair Wear Foundation, which campaigns for a fair garment industry. The screen printing was done in Germany.
