Pavé Chocolate

The meaningful gift: our popular Pavé Chocolates win you over with their nutty flavour and melt-in-the-mouth texture. For every box sold, we distribute 3 meals to people in need and rescue 60 plastic bottles from the environment.

PRODUCTION

The Pavé Chocolate is handmade by the St. Jakob Foundation in Zurich's District 5. At the heart of this social enterprise is the integration of people with disabilities into working life and society. With your purchase you help provide market-oriented jobs and training places in a social environment.

Through self-imposed principles, the St. Jakob Foundation also ensures fair working and production conditions in the Global South. These include fair wages above Fairtrade level and high-quality cocoa. As recommended by WWF, they use RSPO- or POIG-certified sustainable palm oil. Wherever possible, they source ingredients from Switzerland.

INGREDIENTS

Couverture Grenada 65% (cocoa beans, Swiss sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, vanilla), hazelnuts, Swiss sugar, palm fat, coconut fat, cocoa powder, emulsifier E322, vanilla. Contains soy and hazelnuts. May contain traces of milk and almonds. Suitable for a vegan diet. Store in a cool, dry place.

PACKAGING

The chocolate is packed in an A-quality cardboard box by PaperWise, made from agricultural waste (stalks and leaves from Germany) using 100% green energy, CO2-neutral and ISO-certified. The box is recyclable and can be disposed of with cardboard. For a longer shelf life, the pavés are also packed in a cellophane bag, which can be disposed of with normal waste.

• 100 g box: 5.5–7.5 x 3.5–4.5 x 10 cm

SHIPPING

The Pavé Chocolate is shipped by Swiss Post as standard. Delivery normally takes 5–10 working days. For larger orders of 20 or more, please allow 10–14 working days. Please note that there are no deliveries on Sundays and public holidays. Our packaging and shipping costs are CHF 12; shipping is free for orders over CHF 50.
