In our own workshops in Nicaragua, Ghana and India, we process HDPE and PP plastics into useful products – with the aim of promoting local entrepreneurship and establishing a circular economy. PET plastics are sold to local partners for recycling. At the same time, we raise awareness of environmental problems such as plastic pollution through educational workshops and community events, and create much-needed local jobs.

Sources of the plastic
The plastic is collected in three ways: through permanently installed collection points, a mobile collection tour with our community truck, and special educational community events.
